China Mobile globally launch the world first smart satcom robotic dog empowered by StarWin COTM ESA terminal in MWC Shang Hai2025. At major disaster sites, vehicles struggle to arrive promptly, personnel entry is hazardous, and drones suffer from limited visibility. The China Mobile Smart Satcom Robotic Dog is deeply integrated with China Mobile's space-air-ground integrated satellite communication network driven by StarWin innovative ESA terminal, enabling remote control via satellite links. The onboard base station supports vital public communication for the critical rescue window, overcoming the limitations of traditional robotic dog control methods. This provides an all-weather, all-terrain intelligent solution for emergency rescue in extreme environments.
Under "triple disruption" scenarios (disrupted roads, power, and communication networks), rescue personnel can deploy unmanned robotic equipment as pioneers to enter dangerous disaster zones for reconnaissance and temporary communication network deployment, maximizing personnel safety.


01 Remote Control via Satellite: Solving Control Challenges in Extreme Environments
The satcom-enabled robotic dog carries a "Communication On The Move" system, establishing an uninterrupted operational channel with the command center. Commanders can remotely send instructions, enabling ultra-long-range control spanning hundreds of kilometers. It transmits real-time video footage, environmental data, and device status back via satellite links, becoming an intelligent communication node that is "visible, connectable, and controllable" in emergency scenarios.
